Scenic Drives Around Lexington

Route A

Route A will take you through the back roads of Versailles. You will see some beautiful horse farms and downtown Versailles. This route is estimated to take 62 minutes with no stops (but there are some cool stops along the way to check out!!). Click the picture above and it will open in your maps and start your drive!

Some stops and detours we suggest:

  • Wallace Station to grab some food

  • The Amsden for coffee or a snack

  • Walk around downtown Versailles

  • Woodford Reserve Distillery

  • Downtown Midtown

Route B

Route B will take you driving through Jessamine County. You will see lots of farms, drive through the small town of Wilmore, see the High Bridge and the Kentucky River.   • Start at Tack House Pub for breakfast, brunch or lunch

  • Stop at Eckerts Orchard to pick up fresh fruit, veggies or some cider donuts!

  • Walk around Wilmore

  • Get out and walk around the High Bridge

Route C

Route C will take show you south-eastern Fayette County. You will see a bunch of horse farms, the Kentucky river and some of the biggest houses in Lexington. This route is estimated to take 68 minutes with no stop. Click the picture above and it will open in your maps and start your drive!

  • To Eat:

    • Halls on the River

    • Proud Mary BBQ (also on the river + pet friendly)

  • Go slow on Delong Rd. to see big houses!

    • The biggest house (24k sq. ft. estate) in Lexington is on Delong Rd.
